About Campkins RV Centre

After many unforgettable RV trips with the family into Canada's wilderness playground, the future of the Campkin family changed forever.

"We had a great time and totally fell in love with the camping experience," says Brad Campkin, president and son of Campkin's founder, Mr. Laurie Campkin. "After plenty of discussion, my Dad decided this was the RV business for us!"

Laurie opened the RV Dealership, CedarWoods Trailers in 1973, then changed its name to Campkin's Camping Centre in 1977. Brad became a full partner in 1988 and, upon his father's passing, assumed day-to-day operations of the RV business in 1991.

Today, Campkin's Camping Centre is a bustling business with a superb selection of RVs, and related RV parts and RV service products, along with one of the largest parts inventories in the entire region!

Campkin's moved to its present location on Highway 12 in Myrtle Station Ontario (north Whitby) in 1989. The new location provided the space for a large RV showroom and an ample outside display area.
